Anyone have a write up or some kind of directions for the easiest way to totally remove an EG/EJ2 dash?

its pretty simple. its pretty hard to get the freaken AC stuff out from behind the dash. take out the glove box. then the center consol thing. then just take the bolts out from behind the clock and the ones under the dash and on the side. its pretty simple. but if u get into the wiring like i had to do when i ran da new wiring harness, its a bitch. lol. good luck

becaferul with the heater core....if you **** up the copper pipe, you will need to replace the whole core.

its pretty easy though....remove all the bolts that hold it to the body (there is also one under the vent on top of the dash in the middle...hidden ******)....there are bolts on each side of the dash near the door jam. also be certain to drop your steering columb first. you will NOT be able to remove the dash without dropping it.

disconnect all the plugs to all the **** on the dash.

thats how i did it...

I read somewhere that I could just use the teg harness to make things much easier... is that true?

im not sure....if you can, damn that makes everything a breeze, but if not, you have to do a lot of rewiring. expect downtime.

Basically u just have to Heat the hell out of your door panel...and "squish" it into the dash when u close the door...

w/o panels....you have to use a heat gun on the sides until its soft. once its soft, close the doors and let it harden. done!

and you shound love us!... hehe but yea the dash is just a pain in the *** cuase of the angles, cramped space and silly number of bolts. Just go in and remove every bolt you see... took me like 20mins altogther the first time, now i can do it in 5 mins or so.

Man, All this crap is scaring me. lol. I HAVE A BROWN INTERIOR! I really want this teg dash in my car. The teg that i'm getting the dash board is my friends and its just sitting in the drive way so I can take out EVERYTHING I need to make this happen.

I'm just confused as what I will need to remove from the teg and take out from my civic to get it all working right. Then theres the wiring I might have to do and getting everything to fit is a bitch. Damn, im stuck.
