04 S2000 price??
My buddy is getting rid of his 04 Silverstone Metallic with the red/black leather. It has 3500 miles has no factory options. Excellent condition.
What would you guys think a "great price" would be??
Thanks in advance. Thinking of buying myself.

No accessories as in no what?
CD player/changer?
XM radio?
Headrest speakers?
security system?
ash tray?
cargo net?
floor mats?
seat back pocket?
titanium shift ****?
windshield shade?
ket chains?
leather remote holder?
dust cover?
front lip?
side strakes?
trunk spoiler?
hard top?
hard top storage rack?
wheel locks?
engine heater?
fender cover?
Those are options available from the dealership.
Either way....he'd probably be losing out if he didn't get $30k for it.

I can get a new one for less than 30k. Thats me, but even so hardtopguy sells them for 31k all year around. Just be reasonable, see what he wants and work it out with him. You'll love the car, good luck

The only accessory he got was wheel locks, nothing else.
He got it for $31,500 with 3 miles on the odometer. He will give it to me "under 30," and that comes with an extended warranty he bought.
Thanks for all your input, anyone else??

I work at Honda..they sell them for 34K raping people all day. But I got mine for barely 30K. Look around, you can find great deals. We have an 04 on my lot used with 7K on it for sale.

that's not out the door price, you'll have to include, tax/registration etc etc etc. If you buy from out of state, you'll have to pay transportation fees etc etc etc.

with taxes and reg, it would be between 30.5-31k out the door. i just don't wanna take a loan out while still being a student

Considering the car only has around 3,000 miles; 500 of which I have driven and the fact that I am not going to owe my friend, just the bank, I do not see the problem. I am sure everything will go smoothly if I decide to buy.

I almost bought the same exact car brand new from the dealer ship. I shopped around found out that the dealer pays $27,985 for them and I had them talked into selling me one for $29,295 brand new with 13 miles on it. just a piece of info I though I would share
This reminds me of my friend who seemed to always got good deals on new cars he bought. Here are some examples:
This year, he bought a 2006 Toyota Sienna CE for $17K something out-the-door.
In 2002, he bought a 2002 Toyota Camry for $17K something out-the-door.
In 1999, he bought a 1999 Toyota Corolla for $14K something out-the-door.
Now, how could that be possible? Maybe he has a special relationship with Toyota. He wouldn't tell me how and where he got the cars from, though.

I think theres something about Toyota where if you keep buying from them them and from one specific dealership they HOOK you up.
A friend of mine: Like 2 generations of his family have bought Toyotas or something so when he and his twin bought new base Camrys, they paid msrp for one and got the other free.
EDIT ---- Just realized how old this thread is......... -_-;
I was like 'OMG Hynosis bought another one!?' then d'oh!
