My car should have been in a Hall & Oates Video .......56k-Do people still use that??
Ah crap...give me a sec...
Took some updated pics of my car last night. Nothing really new except for the Progress rear sway, my lumineedles.com gauge needles, and my non-existent antenna mast (which some punk stole).
Heres what I got:
97 Civic Dx 99,0000 miles on original D16Y7
Engine Mods:
AEM SRI
Focuz axleback exhaust
Regular maintenance.
Suspension:
GC Coilover sleeves
Stock shocks (still fine after 2 years...and the ride is just fine, thanks)
Progress 22mm rear sway bar
Si front strut bar
Fake TypeR rear strut bar
Intermilano RG-6 15" wheels powdercoated flat black, black Gorilla locking lugs
Yokohama ES100 in 195/55/15
Exterior:
Fake Mugen Lip painted black with rubberized undercoat spray for rock-chip protection
CF Hood
Painted mouldings, handles
EK9 sidemarkers
Fake Spoon mirrors
Generic stainless steel hood pins
MDX antenna
red/clear tails
DIY black painted headlights
DIY City lights
DIY front upper grill
Interior:
New illumineedles.com illuminated gauge needles
white gauge faces
Razo shift ****
ebrake handle cover
DIY recovered door panels and center console
SPAL power window install with switches in center console
Kenwood H/U
Fosgate Amp
Kenwood speakers
JL 8" sub
Sony CD changer
Here we go....wish there were more and of better quality, but my camera crapped out on me so I had to pull out my father-in-laws old Cool-Pix, and the battery died quick.

The car is used almost exclusively for my commute to work and back, and the occasional canyon run. This motor only has 99k on it, and runs like a song. For my purposes, there is no point in doing anything to the motor till I get some more miles outta this one. If I didn't have a wife and a 2 year old whom I love more than life itself, I would blow my money on either a Jackson Supercharger or a swap. Maybe in the future.
I picked up the wheels used but in mint condition for $200 with the old tires which at the time had 80% tread left.
No I don't plan on painting the lip. I originally had it white, but I like this much better.
Yep, It's the Cerritos Town Center....I like that place alot. I would have taken a more diverse selection of shots, but like I said, the batteries died on me.
Thanks for the comments folks.

Nah...the black stays.
And I'd rather listen to the new 18 Visions.
Yes, the sidemarkers are not in the approved JDM purist location. I originally had lame clear single hole sidemarkers which I replaced with these. Rather than replace the fenders, I put them in the same place. They work just fine and look great to me. I don't car too much about being JDM....I just like my car for what it is and what I've done to it.
Yes the headlights are DIY, as are the city lights.

Nope...gonna leave it black. It was originally painted to match, butthe rock chips owned it all to hell, so I sprayed it with rubberized undercoating and liked the way it looks. I have a fake type-r lip that I plan to paint white in the event that I want to switch it up a little bit. :D
