I'm looking at buying a car in the Reno, NV area. Do cars rust much over there. I've heard you get snow there as well. Do they use salt to help with the slippery roads? Reason i ask is the car i'm looking to get is a crx and they are prone to rusting easily and according to the seller, he's been driving the car all year and through winters. Most of the time when this occurs, rust is more than likely gonna happen. The owner says there is no rust on the car at all, i find that hard to believe if the car has been driven through almost every winter. Can anyone from the area give me some feeback on this.
