Default brake upgrade options for 90 integra? (aem?)

the brakes on the teg are shot

a local listmember has a complete set of front/rear aem big brake conversion kit for sale. his car is being kitted out for full drag and his slicks won't fit over them.

http://www.aempower.com/product_brake.asp

i tried to do a search here but got little info. i understand the moment arm concept, but i see it retains the stock-sized calipers and pads. will this mean not all of the swept surface area of the larger brake rotor is not used at all? will these be an effective upgrade, or just useless hype?

any other options? it's not a race car... i know people with just say go with a more agressive pad, but i don't want to deal with heavy dusting and chewed up rotors anymore.

so confused...
