91 accord engine swap Q's
I wanna get a h22a, cuz I can get one for about $2,500, and installed for a total of about $3,500 or so and i've heard their easy to have installed, but I was wondering if this would be a good settup in an accord or is their a better engine that you guys would recomend?
thnx

are you talking about the complete swap or the lb? thats kinda expensive imo. 1g for install, thats not cool. you can find better deals, and if you have a few days and some other transportation, do the swap yourself. you will learn so much. thats how i learned. have a few friends to help. hmotorsonline has it for only 1200 plus ship, the complete swap is 1950.

well i hope they do a good job and for the price I better get some kind of waranty. Oh and they said it would be done in 3 days. That be awsome!!!
thats good. if you do go to a shop and paying that much, always have a shop that guarantees their work. make sure you talk to someone about that BEFORE they start working on your car, you never know...hope all goes well man. enjoy the h!
do you have an H? cuz I have a new question about headers, I wanna get new headers and get them installed with the engine.
My Q is do I get headers for my accord or for the engine? and will they fit with my current exhaust setup?

dude, use h22 headers. if you had an EX, SE i know that the header will bolt up to what ever exhaust/ oem CAT. that you are using, as long as its not some custom work. it may also fit lower models, but i dont know from experience.
also, if your h22 swap comes with the oem header, just use oem. its an awsome oem daily driver/ street header. just go test pipe/ stock CAT. and a decent exhaust.

ok, right now I have a highflow cat, full catback exhaust by tsudo and a short ram intake with k&N like it says in my sig.
so what i'm really wanting is for the sound to be deeper/more concistant at higher rpm's and get more power with the headers.
thnx for ur guys's input

what kind of test pipe are you running? and is this on the F22 or H22? if it is just a straight test pipe, try using a resonated one. it will really help to kill the rasp in the upper rpm.
