Injen intakes
all i can say is it sounds really cool! on the butt-dyno you cant really feel a difference but suposively there is supposed to be a 7hp gain. to me as long as it doesnt reduce power its a good mod, its lighter than stock box and makes the car sound meaner.
why the F did you buy the hardtop when you live in CA?
Why the F did you buy a convertible when you live in CO?

Go to www.injen.com/testing.html they have a dyno test for a S2K. Maybe that will help you. I like Injen Products, but maybe because my bro works there. But yeah, see for yourself. Good Luck.

yeah well after my dyno on Sat. i found out that my s2k is weak! now im not sure if i can blame the intake for my low dyno because of the fact that both my mods are dyno proven to gain power.... the dynos that i have seen to prove it my not show a lot of gain but they definetyly dont decrease power. If i recall r&d motor sports dynoed a s2k with the exact same set up i have plus the spoon header and got 210hp to the wheel. now this is an independant dyno unlike injen's possibly doctored dyno... so i think its safe to say that my mods cannot be blamed for my stinky RWHP.
ek_mr5, yeah i dont think that they doctored their dynos either, its just i should state that they could possibly be doctored because of the fact that there are a lot of skeptics out there that do not beleive that the s2k can gain anymore power. injens dyno as well as independant dynos done by tuner shops and customers have shown posative gains. my car is just screwed up i beleive...
Injen knows that the s2k is a well designed car. They definitely know that it is difficult to gain a lot of horsepower on a car that had very little restriction to begin with. My brother said that there is no reason to doctor a dyno because the truth will come out anyway. Not only do they do independent dynos but also magazines and individual owners also do their own tests.*As far as your car, maybe it just needs some very good tuning.
What' up guys, it' me again back with an update. After much debate and a fair amount of installation time in the cold night air, the injen cold air intake is under the hood. Results can be felt and heard i must say. You can feel her pulling a bit more and you just gotta roll down the windows(if the top isn't already down
) to hear the intake roar at 6,400 when the vtech kicks in. Wow.... In all, we took her down to Speedworld Motorplex last night and managed to shave 3/10's of a second off and tack on an extra 3 mph for trapspeed running a 14.5 at about 98 mph with a 60 ft. time of 2.2 (spectacular for street tires i'm told). Not bad for only having the car for three months.
