Im swappin in a D15B vtec & i was wondering what mods i should do to get the most out of the little sohc powerhouse . Ive already got intake,header,exhaust...the basics.The car is an automatic .So im thinkin of using the p28 ecu.Ive got around $500 to spend on parts. What should i get? Cam gear? Fuel rail? vtec controller? I really have no idea. Also, is it really worth putting bigger injectors on these engines? If anyone can help that'd be great!
Oh, and i realize a manual tranny would be nice...but i have my reasons for keeping it auto for a while

 

maybe you should think about s/c or boostin it.....theres not much you can do to make a sohc really quick, but with boost you can get the job done. but with 500 maybe you should try thinking about wokring on suspenion, get a good set or coilovers like skunk2's or koni yellows or if you are looking for springs get eibach sportline springs. or maybe a good set or tires. falkens are fairly cheap for their quality. 2 cents

 

Well actually my suspension's aready built. H&R springs on AGX's, spc camber kit & trailing arms, DC strut bars all-round, cusco sway bar, new bushings, H&R wheel spacers, 15's with toyo proxes
I just need some ideas with the engine guys, the rest of the car is nicely built. I dont just wanna throw on turbo. I know you can have n/a sohc's that are fairly quick. Please only reply if u have something worth telling me.
