Default LS Vetec vs. Turbo

I just got a 00 teg LS a couple of weeks ago and was wondering what would be better to do with it. A B16 head w/ B20 block or just getting a bolt on turbo?
I know that LS is better for turbo because of the long gears but its also costly!

First ask yourself, how fast do you want to go, and how deep are your pockets?

yup how much money you wanna spend. you can make a crazy turbo setup but if your not looking for that much powaa or spending that much i dunno ur call both are good idea but im gonna have to vote for a solid turbo setup over b20vtaaak.

there is nothing like the feeling of hitting full boost, then vtec....nothing....

but then again, there is nothing like the quickness and "beatability" of an na car....

B20 VTEC TURBO IS AWESOME I HAD THIS SET UP IN MY 93 SI HATCH IT MADE ALLOT OF POWER JUST MAKE SURE WHATEVER U DO GO HONDATA IT IS AN AWESOME THING LOVE IT , BUT ANSWERING YOUR QUESTION I WOULD GO LS VTEC SINCE YOU ARE ALREADY LS MUCH EASIER, BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR TRANY TO GSR OR B16 FOR THE SHORTER THROWS, LS TRANY IS TO SLOW FOR VTEC SO ITS UP TO YOU? ASK YOURSELF HOW DEEP CAN I GO HMMM?

Same thing I did, I got the boost bug and bought a ***** out set-up. It was fun for a while, but now everything is sold, and I will hopefully be starting an all motor build over the winter, for me N/A is best!
