Default Quick question about cluster.

Well I just recieved my EX cluster today from another user on H-T. Works like a charm.

Only one thing. Before, when I had no cluster, I used to shift by "hearing" or "feeling" my motor. Once I hear it whine up in the RPMs, I'd shift. I tried it the same way today and found out I was shifting at about 5,000-5,300 RPM. I tried taking it past 5,500 RPM but the motor just runs out of breath. I feel if I go any higher, I'm going to do some damage. The motor does sound very loud at 5,000 RPM but it's stock. I was wondering if anyone experienced this when they swapped in an EX cluster.

There's nothing wrong with my motor, no CELs, and I know I'm running a D15B7 and am probably expecting much out of it. But, it should rev to 6,400 RPM easily, but I feel it's straining to get up there.

I know OEM clusters are off, but off by 1,000 RPM?
