No but I regret clicking on this post.

Guess it all comes down to research and using the damned search function.

i regretted putting koni yellows and h&r lowering springs on not long after i got my itr...because i soon took them off and realized how good stock itr suspension was now that i have owned the car for almost 3 years...i believe it will need an upgrade soon...but the race car always takes priority

Ouch. Hahaha.

I regret modding my car. Period. What a money pit. That and I know that I didn't max out the abilities of a stock ITR. Just a steeper learning curve now.

Biggest regret? Spoon N1. Nice and zoomy at the time. Got old. Real old. Especially after 5+ hour drives to the track. At least that problem was resolved earlier this year (w/different exhaust).

I regret the JUN titanium retainers. One of them Busted on me!
I had a Mushroomed valve, and a broken retainer. The inner valvespring was the only valvespring that was still on, the outside edge of the retainer busted off.

Rule of Thumb - Coat Titanium **** with that special hardening coat (forgot what it was called)

(1)My original Hondata tune was a little too lean up top and helped burn a piston. Learning process.

(2)On those rare occasions that I'm on the street in the ITR and I bounce over a bump or railroad tracks, I do think about changing the suspension.

nope. I have tried to keep the car reliable with simple (and usually cheap) mods...

Mods =
Bilstein Sport Shocks (with stock springs - this setup kicked *** @ Exbo 4)
SS Brake Lines, ATE fluid
Cobalt GT Sport pads
DIY master cylinder brace
Eluder's DIY C Pillar Bar
DIY cold air intake duct to stock airbox
Comptech foam filter
Greddy Oil Temp & Pressure gauges
Power steering removal
Braille lightweight battery

Damn, I havn't been through that list in a while...

Modifications I regret:

1. Modifying an Integra to begin with.
2. Installing VTEC killer camshafts on a street car. Streetable, daily driveable, but guaranteed to drive you nuts.
3. Removing the CAT and replacing with test pipe
4. Installing Individual Throttle bodies on a street car. Strictly belongs on race car. Why? Because you can't go anywhere without smelling like raw gas. You can not carry your 4 year old with you neither because of the fumes.
5. Removing PS system. For the nominal gains, not worth it IMO.
6. Removing AC system. Atlanta averages 90 degrees in the summer time and it's humid.
7. Installing skunk2 coilovers on stock shocks. Will not last long.

I regret putting them Infinity Kappa Perfect Componenets in my car...

I should've gone higher end and instead of relying on those rattling bass, although Dynamat helped abit in my doors, but it still rattles.
I should've gotten a 10" box.

I just found out how retarded I was with wheels and tires...I've brought these in the last two years:

set of S-3
3 sets of Dunlop SP5000 <first set destroyed in autox>
2 sets of Falken Azenis
set of Kumho Victoracer
set of Kumho V700

avg $400 x 8 = $3200

set of Koseit K1
set of 16" Rota Slip
set of Mazda Millenia
= $1500

With all those money spend on damn tires, I could've gotten a better sound system and JDM front

Anyone regret their header choice?

I'm still thinking about buying one, but after seeing how many people dented their low hanging $1,000 header, I'm having second thoughts.

There you go Jond. I bet anyone with an SMS Header wouldn't even dare mention that on here. If they do, I'll be glad to brighten their day and take it off their hands .

I absolutely hated my Comptech Race Header. It dented up and scraped everywhere I went. This is 100% my fault though. There's a reason why they call it a "RACE" header.

I had a JDM Si integra before my ITR so i made all my mistakes in modding it. I had the sweetest sounding Mugen sport exhaust (louder and sweeter sounding than the twin loop) and i went and put on a DC JDM 4-1 which made the exhaust note slightly raspy but not too bad, then i fitted a JDM Phase Racing test pipe, and completely and utterly ruined the exhaust note, it was horrible and raspy up until above 4400rpm (vtec) My current ITR came from japan with quite a few quality upgraded parts so i havent done anything to it at all as i'm reasonably happy with the way it is, even though the 14kg front 12kg rear springs are a bit harsh, so i'm playing with the idea of eibachs pro-kit and stock shocks.

I don't regret anything I have done to the car and I feel it is a much improved car because of what I have done. I have been very methodical in my approach - never rushing into a modification, always doing plenty of research and thinking of the car as a whole rather than sticking individual bits on it here and there.
