Just curious. I need to replace the runners/jack point rail under my rex due to rust. Found a CIVC hatch of same year in some junkyard in great shape and wondering if I have that portion of the body cut-out whether it is the same or relatively close to a REX? Meaning from behind the front wheel back fender back under the door to the front portion of the rear wheel well.
I've searched and not found anything along these lines. Any other suggestions would be great...I'm restoring a REX.

 

I would just fab up some new ones out of sheetmetal. It would be less work and you would know that they are rust free.

 

I was going to do that, but wanted to know all my possible ways to fix my issue and what it will cost. Thanks
