Default Bumper Screw Bolt

I got a small request. When i got my 99 coupe there were no screws for the front bumper, so i bought some stuff from the hardware store and made it work. At Lowes they have 3 drawers of automotive plastic fasteners. If anyone has or could take a pic or link me to one of the screws that come on our ek bumpers id really appreciate it. I want to see if i can find something similar to OEM standards. I did a search but couldnt find any pictures. Thanks

hmmm....just use a large washer (1/2 inch) to cover the circumference of the pre-drilled holes.

i asked the Honda dealership when i lost mine. I also used 1/2" washers to ensured they fit b/c the screws you get at Home Depot or Lowes don't have that washer permanent attachment.

I believe that it's 5x20mm
(these are the screws that connect the bumper to the side quarter pannels.)

i would go up to the dealership and just ask.

EDIT: actually i have the bag in my car, i forgot, when i get home i'll check and post it up

ok, just checked. I'm using 5mm x 16mm screws. I also tried 5mm x 20mm and they fit (just a little longer), but i could only find them for allen wrenches. The 5mm x 16mm's have the philips head screw.

i also used a washer that was about 1/2" in dia, could be more, around the screw so that the bumper wouldn't go around the screw and fall off.

happy hunting at home depot or where-ever
