K24?
I was wondering if htere was anyone who has done or will be doing a K24 swap into an accord? i think that would be the best place possible for that swap for those of us with a sohc slusbox? help me out here guys
the h22 swap is way cheaper, yeilds more power and torque and is a lot more practical. but if you really wanna swap a k24 you will need to do a lot of custom fabrication as far as motor mounts, and its gonna cost you a pretty penny.
I think it would be really easy for a compnay such as hasport to make a mount kit for an accord and a K24 from the TSX would make way more power much easier than an H22 also you can get a six speed and better technology...therefore being a step ahead of everyone else!

how do you figure it will be easier? k24 are very expensive at the moment and to fit it in anything other than a 7th gen will take almost as much as the cost of a new 03+ accord. and for the power it would totally be not worth it, you're looking at about a 10hp increase from a 6th gen and maybe 20hp from a 5th whereas you get atleast 60hp from swapping in a H22 in a 5th gen

well lets compare it to putting a K20 into a crx now tell me thats easy the motor is as big as the engine bay but it works and well didn't take very long to figure out now did it also its new technology who doesn't want the newest and best stuff out there. TSX has 200 to the crank and simple bolt ons will bump the power imensely

I think that youll need to replace everything....engine tranny axles ,etc. The location of those complonents is totally different compared with previous generations...engine turns clockwise (and not counterclockwise , as it used to be) ...
