Stay in the Honda Game or Nissian 240
Hey pppl thanks for comin to my poll! this is goin to be for me to get a better idea of what i wanna do car wise.
As of now i have a EF HB STD body style (so light) with a b16a rebuilt. it has honed blocked, new bearings, rods were shot peened, ctr pistons, and head wise it has b16 head port/polished, light mill, itr cams/valvetrain, jg cam gears. tranny has c's short shifter, and 7.5 lbs. flywheel, and act clutch.
now i really want rear wheel drive or even maybe a dsm i can get good deals on either so lets hear it guys....

i no pleanty of ppl would trade there honda for a 240/dsm here on H-T...but thats good that there are all honda peps so if they say stick with my hatch then i have to lol, dont want to get rid of just a thought!

do what YOU want not us. me i say save up buy another car and keep the hatch thats what i'm doing myself cause i nearly gave up and sold her but i'm too proud to sell it so i'm getting another car and keeping the hatch on the backburner for now

stay away from DSM..
I have both a 300zxTT and a ef b16 Turbo.. The nissan is GREAT for high speed, but the honda is sick out of the hole and nimble at moderate speeds.. It depends on what you do with your car. street, strip, show, etc..
If your planning on using the car as a daily driver, I would stick with honda. There reliability and ease of repair is unbeatable.

Ive got a 240 and i love it alot. Ive had it for about a year and a half and its a good car, hasnt broke down yet, but its no honda. I say keep the ef cause 240s are getting so damn expensive now, rwd is fun tho.
I'd say 240, RWD IMO is a better platform for autoX and track racing and you cant find a RWD honda for under 10k. You could also go with a AWD DSM, i'm trading my civic for a DSM + $500 but i still have a CRX so i'll be in both band wagons
well i have considered trading the crx for a 240sx at one time. i also considered trading it for a 1st gen dsm. now i'm keeping it.
I've owned 2 DSMs.. They're junk. DSM - Dollar Spending Machine. I went through so much money on my GS-T and my DOHC ZC Crx could still hang with it. And I owned an 89 Colt which was gonna be my 4G63T conversion sleeper but I got lazy and sold them both. IMO a DSM is not worth it. And a 240 is a fun car to drive, but you'll miss the raw acceleration of your hatch. Vtec is addictive, how many ppl turn their radio's up to hide the sound of Vtec while daily driving so they can keep from racing or wasting gas. Just build up another Honda/Acura. - Darrell
240s are cool but do what you want to do. Don't get caught up in the drifting hype or anything like that. Keep in mind Honda is reliable and parts are cheap. DSMs are junk, fast, but who wants a car that keeps breaking all the time. Nissan makes good cars but I don't think RWD is the end all be all of having a cool car. Stick with Honda. Even though I'm not one to talk really since I don't even own one anymore but I miss my old Hatch.
I had a really clean 91 Si with ls/direct port. I put tons of money and then one day got a 95 240. I love it and can never go back to daily driving a honda. Dont get me wrong I still love honda and want to start a new project but you really do get a chance to see things different when you on the other side. I get alot of looks from diffrent kind of people in the 240. On top of that when I go out during the day i see maybe 15-25 hondas ranging from big mufflers, neon lights to turbo clean hondas but I only see 1-2 240s and they are mostly stock. The 240 is a totally differennt kind of car and you get a whole new feeling driving it. atleast I did.. I say go for the 240 and atleast try it. you only live once. screw all the people that call it a trend because honda's were the biggest trend to ever hit the face of this earth. and anyone who wants to call it a "trend" i challenge to even begin to rationalize there statment.

w/all that stuff done motor wise man, have fun w/it...get into auto-x or some sort of racing legally, but if you, excuse me wanna sell out and hop onto a nissan, go fer it, a rb25 can take ALOT of power internals wise.
thanks for the input and your opinions even that some of your answers were dickish, its whatever, i am goin to keep the hatch and save up ...good leason to learn about posting dumb stuff such as this
