Default Satellite Radio Services: Performed Search

Performed a search and found nothing so here goes:

Looking to get satellite radio, mainly for the trance, house and progressive stations offered. Doing some shopping and most websites aren't too clear, but for those who have Sat Radio, which service do you like more: Sirius or XM?

A friend of mine has an XM unit and pays 10 a month and its pretty rockin'

However my bro (who is a big car audiophile) says Sirius is better, its what he runs into more so on his job at Mercedes.

The headunit manufacturers I like, (Alpine, Sony, Pioneer) all use XM.

personally I like XM better. The reason your bother may run into Sirius more at the Mercedes place is because maybe they are partnered with Sirius. A lot of manu's are with XM, and alot are also with Sirius, so I wouldn't go by that.

I've had XM for 2 months now and I love it. I purchased a Delphi Roady tuner and am running it through my head unit via FM modulation.

It's a lot better than listening to FM stations. I do have cutouts sometimes, when I'm in a tunnel or in a parking lot. But besides that, it's well worth the $10/month.
