I was wondering if i could put eg hatch springs on my crx? i talked to someone at a local garage and they said it would work but the spring has to be compressed more. does anyone know anything about this?

 

They are right. EG has a longer shock travel so the shock is longer. I know cause I have EG shocks at home and was going to put it on till I saw it had too much gap when no pressure is on.

So basically the shocks are longer and the springs are also longer so you think your lowering it 1.5" but it might just be 1".

If you get the coilovers then that is different.

 

That's good to know. So I should just stick tocrx lowering springs to be safe.
