Hi All,

First time posting on here, so hello to you all.

I've had a MIL lamp come up the accord and the main dealer reckon it's P0143:Idle control Valve wiring fault.

Only trouble is....P0143 is the fault code for the third O2 sensor (I doubt this has one!).

Anyway, has anyone had any problems before on the idle control valve wiring (Chaffing, poor connections etc??). The dealer is asking for large amounts of money and really I can't face this for repairing a chaffed wire or a loose connector!! The symptoms are poor idle speed control and MIL Lamp.

The cost is already at £75 GBP and he hasn't even found the fault yet!
