Default Noise after rev

Kinda of simular to a previous post but I believe this is something different. When I rev my car to about 4-6k rpms and it comes down to idle it makes a rattle/clicking noise then goes away after it idles for a few seconds. Took it into honda they said the catalytic converter was gone and that was the problem. It wasnt...its still there. BTW they replaced the cat for free because the warrenty was passed on from the previous owner. Anyone have any ideas? I could try to get a recording of it or something or maybe its just how the engine runs? Thanks

Damon

where is the rattle located? I had the heat shield on my exhaust piping get bent and cause a rattle once before. just had to bend it back in place.

there is actually a write up on here on how to do it. However, if you dont think you can do it, or dont want to try, any local mechanic should be able to do a valve adjustment. Id recommend going to a honda specialist.

rev it up slowly in neutral and see if it happens at a certain rpm
everytime. check all your heatshields all the way back the exhaust
and make sure there is clearance for the exhaust

As stated, get your valves adjusted.
