Default Mugen B-Pipe.

I'm not sure if it's called a B-pipe or not, but it's the part before the axle-back section and after the Cat.

Anyways, I read around the forum and I saw someone mention that the Mugen Twin-Loop Catback has 2" piping before the Resonator and 2.5" after. Is this true? If so, would it be better to replace it with a T1R B-Pipe (2.5"), or would it be pointless? I think Mugen would have made it that way for a reason... Or not.

Anyways, Thanks.
- Girl.

what muffler are you going to use, if its also 2.25 then anything 2.25 would be fine, but if you have a 2.5 muffler then get something that matches other flow of exhaust gas will keep moving

I had this system before and I think it will work well with a internally stock motor or with mild cams.

Apparently from what I understand this was done to increase the velocity of the exhaust. I'm sure SMSP could school us all on whether or not this is really effective....but apparently it's a rather popular setup on some Turbo Porsches I've seen...stepping up from smaller piping to some monster pipes near the tail end.

I have the JDM Mugen catback, it's 2.5", like the Mugen header.

I already have a Twin-Loop Catback... But I was just wondering if it would be wise to replace the B-Pipe with the T1R one.

i have mugen twin loop with t1r b pipe..

i like it but i dont know if i can tell the differeance by that much.

it got little louder than stock mugen b pipe but nothing too crazy.

i think mugen b pipe is good enough i had t1r b pipe and spoon n1 system before and only reason i replaced my mugen with t1r is i had it laying around.

when i compared two t1r had bigger piping so i just did it.

i`d say spend the money on something else.

it:s still couple bills.. get a hid or something with that.
