hey guys i got a 99 civic ex, almost died today...no ABS when i slammed on the brakes and prayed for my life. anyone have any idea of what i should do? should i check to see if im throwin codes? any other suggestions, anyone with this problem previously?

does a 99 EX even have abs? I don't think it does becuase my 99 Si doesn't even have ABS...

 

hmm good question,well my last car was a 98 ex and it had abs....

 

I have a '96 Ex no ABS here. I very much doubt a 99 does, could be wrong though.

 

this is too funny, check inside your engine bay see if have the abs unit, it's this big shinny metal box thining with alot of brake lines coming out of it. IF you don't have you don't have abs.

 

i'll do that tomorrow....i'm surprised tho cuz my last civic had it, i thought it was stock on ex civics, where in the engine bay would i see it btw

it'll be on the passenger side of the engine bay, next to the fender. big box with lots of brake lines coming out.
