I am in dier need of tuning and I know this, but heres my dilema, I wont have time to get my car tuned anytime soon. I know I should have thought of this, but I didnt think cams would be such trouble. Basically I want to street tune my car a little so its a little more bareable driving, I know every car is different but anything has got to be better than how its running now, (shakes a lot and misfires)

I was wondering if anyone with a similar setup to mine or exact setup, could let me try out there settings as far as adjustable cam gears and SAFC go. Here is my setup:

b20 head
2 layer OEM head gasket
hondata mani gasket
port matched
crower dual valbe springs
titanium retainers
crower 403s
skunk 2 adjustable cam gears
dc 4-1 JDM header
high flow cat
2.36 exhaust
and SAFC

Once again I KNOW and understand that each car is different, but I just need it to run better to get me to school and work. Thx guys

yeah I know, but I need it to be more driveable for a while until I can get time to get it tuned

 

ok you want it to idle smooth until you get it tuned.

retard the intake cam 2 deg and advance the exhaust cam 2 deg. that will take away 4 cam degs of cam overlap.

it will feel kinda slugish but it will deffinatly be drivable. (smoother)

also double check your ignition wires and plugs. i dont see how it could be missfiring.

 

me either, I just cahnged the plugs and wires last night and its still miss firing.
