Connecting pieces of CAI together
Two weeks ago I went to the dyno with the guys from ITR-NC, at their recomendation I removed my aem bypass valve and repalced it with a piece of rubber which fit the tubes. I gained four hoursepower from that.
What do I use to connect the pipe where the bypass valve was? I used Brian's piece and it was just like a couple inch piece of rubber tubbing, I was wondering what it would be called and where to get it. thanks!

I THIBK THIS WILL BE YOUR EASIEST SOLUTION. FOTUNATLEY I HAD A SHORT AEM INTAKR BEFORE GOING WITH THE CAI AND I USED THE RUBBER PIECE THAT CONNECTS THE INTAKE TO THE THROTTLE BODY. YOU CAN MOST LIKLEY GO TO ANY IMPORT PERFORMANCE STORE AND THEY WILL SELL YOU JUST THAT LITTLE RUBBER PEICE FOR 5 OR $10. LET ME KNOW HOW T ALL WORKS OUT.
P.S. DON'T FORGET TO CHANGE IT OUT WHEN IT RAINS. I ALMOST FORGOT ONE DAY!

AHHHH, why does everyone think you have to change your CAI when it rains? I mean, really, unless you drive through a DEEP *** puddle, you are gonna be fine. Water splashing on the filter isnt gonna be enough to hydrolock it. Stop being so paranoind.
