Default 1995 white Civic Si

What do ya guys think...

A 1995 (original) white Honda Civic Si with the JDM version of the SOHC. So, it's 130 hp instead of the USDM 125 hp engine. Stock exterior and stock interior. Clean title with no accidents. Few scratches and a minor DING in the rear quarter panel. Went down from $4950 to $4850. I'd obviously negotiate with the guy, but does this sound good for his asking price?

If it has a JDM engine I'm going to assume it was a younger person. That's way too much IMHO. It's worth less because it doesn't have the original engine

160k mi on the body and 30k mi on the engine. No rust. I'm not too concerned with the engine, guys. I'm going to drop a DOHC in there. I'll save the SOHC as a spare/back-up. A guy in his mid-elder 20's. He's 2nd owner who bought it from an elder lady.

What if it had a Type-R engine, do you think it's still worth less? Like a lot of ppl don't still have original parts 'cus of this whole need for speed or "JDM" image they're tryin' to go for, yet their cars are worth more. This car is stock as stock. Even though it's not the original engine, IMO it's better in that it's 5 extra horses. Anyway, the only think that seems wrong are the few dings on the rear quarter panel. Everything else seems fine. As stock as it is, it can be a good thing in that it's never been abused or even molested.

dunno where sunny, ca is... but up here in nor-cal... just browse http://www.craigslist.org and you can get yourself a swapped hatch for around 5'gs... or you can spend 2-3g's to get a bone stock cx.

move out east, toward ohio, kansas, and wyoming and crap and hatches become worthless... they can be found for little under 1000...
