maintainence required light on..
There is no problem. The maintenance required lights come on at a preset interval, i.e. every 10,000 miles (I dont know the exact number). Basically its just to tell you that your car is due for maintenance, although it may be something as small as an oil change. Just look in your car's manual to see what type of work is supposed to be done at that mileage.
And when the work is done the manual will tell you how to reset the light back to green if the dealer/shop/whatever doesnt do it themselves. I know on my 94 accord I just had to stick my key in a slot below the spedometer and it reset it.
