"2000CC Piston Kit
Our special piston kit is designed to be used with Type-R crankshafts and rods in a B20B block along with a B16A or Type-R cylinder head. The advantage is having a reliable 2.0 liter engine with an optimal rod-stroke ratio allowing for high rpm operation. Requires VTEC converstion kit commonly used on LS-VTEC engines.
Parts Required For Build Up Parts Source
B16A or Type-R Cylinder Head Honda B16A, Integra Type-R, Civic Type-R
B20B Engine Block Honda CRV, Stepwagon, SMX
Type-R Crankshaft B18C Type-R
Type-R Connecting Rods B18C Type-R
B20B Headgasket Honda
VTEC Conversion Oil Line Kit Most Honda specialist carry this product
Price: $980
Piston Size Compression Ratio Displacement Bore x Stroke
85.00mm 12.1 : 1 1979cc 85mm x 87.2mmm "
Basically they're saying you can use a type R crank and rods with their piston set in a b20 shortblock and b16 or itr head to achieve 2L of displacement and the same r/s ratio as the stock itr? I thought this wasn't possible for some reason... something to do with the "destroking" of the motor by using a b18c crank taking away displacement? hrm.....

I was wondering what kind of barrings would you use for the rods and mains? would you have to use all v-tec or non v-tec barrings? also is it ok to put a pistion that is that heavy on a stock rod?
