From what I've learned your insurance still goes up even if it isn't your fault.

what kinda lame *** insurance can raise your rates when you are not at fault? Is there a NO FAULT insurance clause in Canada? If so maybe you should tell your neighbor to pay outta pocket or a bowling ball might just "fly out of nowhere" through his living room window?

Insurance companies are like the governments, they'll take all your money and leave you ****.

I think they start labeling you as a "high risk" if you get into accidents that aren't your fault. Decent insurance companies let you slide a few times with honest accidents that weren't your fault before they stick it to you.

yeah, I've been in 2 accidents that weren't my fault and Geico actually forced me out of my parent's premium into my own because I was "high risk". Bastards.

Insurance doesnt go up man. They havent legalized the no fault clause yet in Canada. Your insurance company if your car isnt even totalled (which it might be) I dont think you have to tell them.
