I recently swapped out my USDM headlights for JDM one-piece. I just cut the wires at the headlights like most people and resodered the 9006 & 9007 (i think they're the high beams) to the JDM H4 and H1 bulbs. I have recently considered buying a H4/H1 headlight harness to better suit the mod.

1. Are there any suggestions from you guys who have done this already?
2. Should additional fuses, relays or other electrical components also be considered?

btw the highbeams on USDM are 9005

 

i just kept the h4's and wired the high beams to those along with the h1's. its hella bright!!

 

so you wired both the H1/H4's to your stock high beams

 

oh duh nevermind you have no plug...

anways autozone or whatever should have an h4 harness. h4 harnesses will also work for h1 as the to parallel pins are the same width
