anyone ever heard of these...and what they originally cost for a set of 16x7's?

here is a pic of mine...just curious on the price...cuz i got em used



they originally came silver with polished lip..i was told they are old JDM race wheels...anyone know?

They were popular in 1999, at least that is when I had my set in 16x7". I sold a set of those without tires in 2002 for like $250.
They were made in Japan, and Kosei is a good brand, but they are older wheels, and not really great for racing cause they are kinda heavy.......but they would be cool for anyone who loves the 90's, and want to take their teg back there
I always liked them; post them in the classifieds forum with better pics, and see what kind of offers you can get for them.

I use to have them on my old car, pretty decent looking rims, not my favorite though. They are not as common, but they are not light either. Definetly not expensive, good shaped kosei r.s. 16x7 go for prolly around 300 with out tires i say.

 

Didn't Enkei make wheels like that too? Who copied who?

there were a lot of knockoffs made of the kosei racing seneka, like racing dynamics made a knock off. Not to say enkei made a knockoff, I don't think theirs looked just like this one.

 

ya they are not my fav. wheels either...but i got em for $250 and i have $260 in tires...so not bad for like $500...and i like em in bronze...they are just temp. till i can save up and get TE37's
