ok guys, well i cant afford to pay full insurance on the new teg, but i also cant afford to loose it to some sticky fingered theif!!!!

what are my options???? about how much $$$ does a good pager alarm system cost, and are some brands better than others???

also is lowjack worth it??? how much does it cost to instal, and how much are the payments to keep it up????

any other options/ advice???? just dont want this one to walk away from me like my eg did!!!!!

 

My first word of advice is to get the alarm FIRST. Before any rims, stereos, etc. That should weed out the possibility of any shady alarm dealers.

Second, since you can't afford full coverage, make sure your security is top notch before you mod your car. Alarm, hood lock, trunk disconnects, non-key hole door handles, kill switches, club, autolock, the works. All in all, it'll cost you 400-500, from my guestimate, but it sure as hell is worth it.

 

i plan to keep the car as stock as i can for like 2 years .. gonna be a baby driver .... haha , ya know .. even thought its only got the b18b in it, its still a gsr shell, which will make people think it has a gsr motor ....

maybe if im lucky just the fact that there will be a baby seat in it will keep theifs from it ....

i got the club .. like i said .. gonna try and keep it stock ..... it has white 17" rims on it now that im going to try and trade for some low key rims, and a cheap head unit is all i really want in the car at this point .....
