2 days ago i was driving on the highway and a 92 camry wanted to race so at first i said ahh but he kept messing around with me so i said a what the hell. so i stepped on the gas and i was doing it but then suddenly i see the camry pass me on my left and my car didnt wanna go no more . well i dont know if my cars a dud or what the hell is wrong with my engine just got it rebuilt with new pistons , 4 puck act clucth and a prolite flywheel muffler, intake, 2.5 piping but still not satisfied in a week going to work on the top of the engine please let me know what the hell is wrong with my engine and what can i do to make it better thanks

Street racing is a no-no. I would probably see what the compression is on your cylinders. I don't understand how you got beat. You don't need to sell your car for something with VTEC . You can find ways to go quick without going VTEC.

I was thinking the same, but maybe he has an automatic..........I had an automatic integra once, and sold it as fast as I could......I was experiencing a moment of temporary insanity when i bought it.

 

v6 camry's can be beat.

reminds me of the time when i had a stock LS in my 94 SI and lost to my buddy's 94 Accord!! LOL. this was on the highway with NO cars whatsoever...in WI on the way to my lil bro's wedding.

Remember the stock LS's transmission sucks ***** tho' when paired with the stock motor. Maybe good to have if you're turbo'd, but its geared for gas milage, not speed.

haha, thinking the same as well. Ive ran a few cars onthe interstate, LS-swapped Del Sols and Civics, and a v6 mustang. Beat em all...dont see what this guy wouldve had a problem with unless he cant drive and I throw codes like a mirf yo.

 

Heh, I have a 91 teg, too. Here's what you have to remember to make more power. Our cars are old. Like, Desert Storm old. Clean your throttle body, check/adjust your ignition timing, do a valve adjustment, check and replace worn parts (Dude, I live at Advance). Time is what wears and detunes engines. Tuning really is key. Turn back the clock by cleaning, adjusting, and fixing.

Oh yea, girls like it when you have a reliable whip for some reason.

Well in the midst of the gibberish I picked up "4 puck act clucth and a prolite flywheel" so I'm thinking manual... just a wild guess.

First off, you suck at driving if you have all these preformance modifications, and you still lost to a V-6 Camry.

Second off, you suck at English. Next time, try using punctuation along with all that whiney "Why did my Integra lose to a Camry" banter. People will be more responsive and helpful to a person who speaks with at least a middle school sounding education.
