92-95 SOHC Greddy Kit into '99 EX?

I've heard everything fits fine except you have to extend the primary o2 sensor to fit a 15g kit into a 96-00 EX. Is this correct? Just want confirmation before I order.

That is true, except in my case I just put some *** into it and made them connect, but they were drawn tight.

is soldering the wires the only way ?

It is the best way. I would not advise using wire nuts, if that is your plan.
