Default Any exhaust guru, please help:

question #1 - does a resonator with a constant ID REALLY slow down exhaust flow?

question #2 - if so, would it change anything if the resonator was pushed further back in the system, i.e. away from the cat, & closer to the muffler/tips?

question #3 - would it make sense to go to larger ID piping after a resonator?

question #4 - should I get new muffler bearings?

haha thanks.

it's ALWAYS a good idea to replace your muffler bearings.

#3.......
if anything you would wanna go down 1/4" in diameter to maintain gas velocity as it is cooling. But then you could start with 2.5" and step down to 2.25" after the resonator.
