I have a Hella 8300k HID kit (I'm a ricer). I was wondering if I can use any 9006 HID bulbs, such as 4300, 6000, etc.

8300K is definitely ricer. It's probably not much brighter than some purple PIAA bulbs.

You can use any bulb that fits 9006, as long as the wire coming from the ballast will plug into the bulb.

 

Well did you have a plug and play HID kit? All you need to do is replace the bulb to a lower K then it'll become less colorful.

 

Yep its plug and play. I think i wanna go with something more white. Such as 4300k

 

I know your probally saying that just because you hate purple bulbs, but I have a 7000-8000k kit and the output is 10x better than halogen. The only reason I have that high of a kelvin is because the ******** I bought them from gave me the wrong ones!
