Does all H and F series tranny fit a f23a4 engine?? I'm asking because i would like to do a auto > manual conv, but the guys at the shop where i was asking around said that the only 5sp tranny that fit the f23a4 engine is the one that came on the f23a4 enigne none other will fit.

 

yes, all f and h series trannies will fit...and those guys aren't very knowledgable about honda motors if they didn't know that...i'd personally take this into account before deciding to use them for my conversion if i were you...

 

yea, that what i thought. they said they work on about a couple of an accord only so i guess i better go find a shop that know more about the accord.

 

All of the clutch housings are the same on the H and F series tranny's. If your looking at doing a swap I have a spair F22 tranny and some related parts I could sell you. Let me know if your interested.
