Default OT: What is your favorite food at various tracks?

Add more as you wish....

This thread is made to ensure all participants enjoy a good event at the track without running into some mouth-drying, distastful food. Good food is as important as keeping yourself hydrated during race/hpde.

100mph Chili is my favorite, it's hard to find spicy chili these days. It sure brings fear to your roomate/co-driver/instructor as they spot you chucking one

The Fat Ray option is to see how many friends of mine are looking into this thread as I am sure they will all select this one....

The Hot Dogs at Willow Springs are fairly typical, but awfully good.

Ok, next question, which track would you guys want me to open up a restaurant at and what would you like served?

The potential is there, I'd just have to do alot of searching for the right location.

They are long gone but the weiner wagon that used to show up at the Olympia (WA) airport circuit ROCKED. We'd start with a kielbasa with kraut and mustard for breakfast when they first opened at about 10am - breakfast - and repeat the process for lunch and dinner.

The Quarles down the street from Slummit makes some awesome burgers, as does Chez Summit Point. Watch out when they've been sitting for a while, though...they taste like army burgers.

That chili is one big reason I like mid-winter events at VIR. I am completely serious.

I certainly am not a world traveler, but VIR has far and away the best food in general of any track I've been to. And they have their own private-labeled beer...

How can you guys eat some of that stuff on race-day?!?? If I ate any of that I'd be missing my start because I'm busy fumigating the porta-potty!!

For me it's gatorade and some bland crackers untill all my runs are done.
