Greddy A/F gauge
hey, i've been looking into a/f gauges, and i have a few questions, is it a voltimeter type gauge? or some other type? would i need to get or does it include some other o2 sencor or a probe type thing needed for the gauge to work? hows the installation, do you just splice a few wires like the autometer gauge? i like the fact that it show the a/f ratio like 12.5 unlike the autometers stoic/rich or lean, but is it accurate enough to warrent the $340 sugested on the greddy site? am i paying a lot more money for the accuracy of the gauge or just the greddy name, cus if so im just going to get the autometer. TIA
No, greddy is also adding a dedicated O2 sensor with it's AF meter. The Greddy AF gauge is much more accurate than an AF gauge that reads off the stock O2 sensor.
All A/F guages read what the O2 sensor is feeding it.....greddy is just adding more lights....waste of money.
also which do yall think is more acurate on reading the a/f, autometer EGT, or Greddy A/F? i like the price of the EGT, around 150 vs the greddys 350. thanks
I think if you want accuracy the Greddy....however, have fun playing with the new O2 sensor.
If not, look at Ebay or in the classifieds for a A/F guage and don't go blowing that much money on a damn guage.....when you will get better performance from dyno tuning your car for the same cost.
