Default Oil Filter Post

I was wondering if anyone knows what the thread pitch is on the oil filter post and if it is the same as the B and H blocks. Thanks for any info you can provide.

the thread pitch is the same, however the s2000 takes a different oil filter (PCX-004) than the rest of the honda lineup (PLM-XXX)

Thank you very much for the quick response. I need to know for a oil inlet plate for a dry sump set up we are building. Thanks again.

The filter center bolt thread size is 20M and the thread pitch is 1.50 mm.

If you are going to mount this after removal of the existing water-driven oil cooler, most relocation adapters and sandwich plates will work if you keep to the proper center bolt sizing, above.

If you are going to mount this with the existing oil cooler still in place, I suggest that you consider using the Canton Racing products adapters and sandwich plates. They come with a very large custom O-ring that permits a proper fitting over the oil cooler and prevents leakage. I tried the Perma-Cool but had to replace it with the Canton due to leakage caused by o-ring mount design.

Moreover, the Canton comes with large ½NPT fitting size and large internal flow channels at a very fair price.

Thanks LaterApex for the info. We have our own blockoff plate with a -10 AN fitting to introduce the oil back into the motor from the dry sump pump. I will keep the idea about the stock oil cooler in mind though.

Thanks
