Default stock b-pipe with aftermarket header and exhaust?

I just wonder what would the effect be, if I am running a 2.5 header to a Carsound Cat, and to a stock 2.25 B-Pipe then out to a 2.5 exhaust.

Does the stock b-pipe pretty much cancel out the benefits of the header and exhaust?

It doesnt cancel it all out, but its def not helping.

Upgrade to a 2.5" b-pipe.

What if you remove the bottleneck after the cat?

I do not think the stock exhaust is a huge restriction... my plan is to remove the bottleneck and run it w/ a 2.5" cat.

Suuuuure.

Why do I have a feeling that you'll be rockin' a Mugen exhaust or some other JDM bling part.

Because I think the money is best spend elsewhere

I like bling, but I like my hearing better.

im currently running a mugen 4-1 header, test pipe, oem itr b pipe and oem itr muffy.
still makes power, yet not as much as when i had the mugen b pipe and mugen muffy in.
i had to remove the mugen b pipe and the mugen muffy due to chp attention...car runs fine...just super rich now.
lots of black smoke at WOT...motor is fully built jun crate.

purchased mugen 4-1 header, mugen b-pipe and mugen muffy back in '98.

Haha, there is no need for a 2.5 b-pipe...the insiders should know what goes on this Sat.

I just wonder of all this time, what kind of restriction I have on my car

I was running the full stock exhaust on my set up. 209whp/140tq Its not THAT restrictive and the stealthy quietness is worth it IMO. Remove the bottleneck and Id say you are golden.
