I have a 2003 Accord. When I arm the alarm about 75% of the time the horn responds to acknowledge the car is armed with a full volume horn blast. The other 25% of the time the horn responds with the more appropriate "muted" honk. I would like to always have the muted honk, and am unsure of why it varies. Any ideas?

Do other accords of this year typically have a loud honk or muted honk for the "armed" alert?
