Alright so i bought this project 88 hatch for cheap. When i bought the car it had no passenger side seat or rears, it had a driver seat but only right side bracket was intact and only 1 bolt was used, and to fix the unlevelness they put a BLOCK of wood under it! Wish i had a pic. LOL Anways, so its not the seats i need to worry about , its that no one makes brackets to fit racing seats in a 88/89 hatch. So i had a shop make custom brackets for my car I can get more of these brackets so PM if u need some. I only need one bucket seat, so i just got a new Sparco Speed, i used sparco sliders and the custom brackets, I also got the passenger side brackets done and now im open to put in any OEM or aftermarket seat in my ride Also the brackets bolt into the 4 OEM holes on floorboard. Comments welcomed.

anyways. how far is you head from the roof liner? sit in the seat and put ur fingers on ur head. cuz i only got about 2-3 finger gap with my sparco fighters. i don't know why., but my seats sit really high/

My seat fits perfect like stock. i get way more then 2-3 fingers. I sit in the same spot as stock seats maybe a lil lower since my sparco's a bucket seat

 

Brackets look good. Im liking the MR5's

Well he had custom brackets made, so what brackets did u go with? Also, how tall are u? Maybe ur a lot taller than Jeff (hondadict)...

Looks really great! But, Sparco makes the seat bases and they are FIA approved. Sparco seat base Tabbed requires base, 500 adapter and slider.
