Default Code 17 (vehicle speed sensor)

i had a code 5, 7, and 16, took care of them all, and now all of a sudden i get a code 17. anyone know what this could be about. all i can think of is the speedo cable, but that isnt electrical. where is the speed sensor anyways?

i will have to recount, maybe it is a code 16 again, but i dont think so.

any ideas?

speedo is in back of the tranny by the mount

and u can take the cable out or wiggle it and should either work or not

but make sure before u take it out

i throw a code 17 once a week. I just flash my ECU, and that takes care of it for a week. My speedo still works, and i'm goign to adress the issue, when i do my 99 SI cluster swap
