Anyone know where a good place to get a RS symbol for the upper grill on 96-00 civics??? The only place i know if AJ-Racing but if i could find some place closer to Jersey that would be better

RS- ricey **** in my opinion unless you actually have a JDM Civic Ferio RS 1.7l D17A SOHC-VTEC engine or wanting to convert your Civic into one.

 

I get a good chuckle everytime I see someone w/ one of those on their coupe or hatch. I mean come on would you put Impala SS emblems on Cavalier? JDM rice is the worst

lol I am all about rice! There is no such thing as "JDM" rice though, I thought you knew.

If I order a "JDM" Type R badge for my car its not rice, cause its JDM just like JDM engine plates that describe an engine and chassis for a DIFFERENT car, although its ******* RETARDED its JDM. Thats whats important.

I have JDM TYPE R lights on my Si Coupe so I guess thats RICE because they belong on a type R.

RS stands for road sailing. I think thats more fitting for my SI than Sport Injection since my si feels like a ******* boat.

The same person making these asinine comments most likely think roaring turtle has the tightest hatch on the earth (personally one of my favorites) I think after the first few dumb *** questions we have learned to accept the fact he has an RS badge on his si.

I personally think its stupid too but I am putting one on my car to match my RS cluster. STUPID JDM RICE

 

LOL I guess it adds some JDM FLAVA Y0 plus people who don't know much about "JDM" will think an RS badge on a Civic is something "special" vroooooooom vrooooom

You do realize the 1999 - 2000 Honda Civic Vi-RS Sedan has a D15B SOHC 3 Stage VTEC motor? But I do believe your refering to the 7th Gen.

None the less the badge is nice, and back in the 70s did stand for "Road Sailing". However I really don't think it has any sort of meaning on the current vehicles. If you want it, get it. It's not going to make your car anymore "JDM" because the badge is technically ment for a Sedan not a Coupe or Hatchback. (even though I still have one, but have removed it from the vehicle.)
