hey, i have h&r race springs and im running on kyg agx. its a lil on the stuff side but handles great....if these shocks blow out, im going to get some koni yellows.
Yeah, I am wondering whether Koni Yellow's with the 3 position perch will be good enough for my Spoon progressive springs. (For my EK)
Right now I am just going to use the CTR factory shocks. But I figure I will have to upgrade in the future...

Couple of points on Koni Yellows. I just installed a set from Tire Rack.
The fronts are externally adjustable for dampening. The rears are NOT. You need to compress the strut fully, then twist the shock rod to adj dampening (about 2 - 2.5 twists from full soft to full hard. They come full soft from the factory.
For $120/shock, Koni will make the rears externally adjustable.
From what I've gathered the rears are from a CRX application. There is an externally adjustable Koni for the ITR, but I understand it interferes with the lower control arm? The Koni tech line was very helpful: 859-586-4100.

I have A'PEXi WS suspension, and I am very happy with it.
Considering the typical price for threaded body coilover, and also taking into consideration how much just SHOCKS usually go for.. I opted for these.
Retail is $1088.00 so you can easily get in the sub $900.00 area if you know the right people.
They ride so much nicer than my previous Tokico/Skunk2 setup.
Stiffer and more responsive. Gets a thumbs up from me for sure.

So the bilsteins are self-adjusting? Was is the meaning of this.?? I'm assuming these would be better than the konis only if the driver wants to focus more on driving car than tuning it .. And the konis are better for those who want to adjust the bound and rebound to try out different driving styles and road courses. Does this sound right.?

Hmmm.....
I spoke with a gentleman at Nats this year in Topeka with a 98R who just bought externally adjustable koni's for his ITR and already had them installed. Apparantly they have just (finally) been released. Might be worth a call to Koni to verify before purchasing rears.
And I've got the CRX rears which fit the ITR. Definitely have to have 'em off the car to adjust
