J/W what type R owners will opt for the RSX-R when available?
I don't want to give up my G3 model R for a new one but i might opt to buy a new one and keep the old one. I really never want to give up my R.
For me it depends on what they give us....if we dont get the recaros, brembos, 220HP engine...rims and all the other goodies then
im keeping my old R. If its real close to the JDM R and i cant afford to keep the old R..ill probably get the new R.

If it is released in the US, it may not be all that attractive next to the AWD 280hp Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VII (which is strongly rumoured to be here late next year).
And, just to annoy a few people, I have yet to see a single review of the new Type-R that does not suggest that it is inferior to the current DC2.

I might buy a DC5...but that doesn't mean I'd get rid of the DC2.
I'm browsing for a daily drive car now, but it appears that all the good new cars will be out around the same time in the next 2 years. Can't wait!!

Not me. Next vehicle is going to be AWD/turbo, and
NOT a WRX.
NOT a WRX.
I'd rather have a larger car ( familly and all ) Maybe a Lotus Carlton...
Gotta keep up with the new EVO after all... heh heh

EXACTLY! If we get the 220hp powerpalnt, I will most likely add this to my collection. I will never trade my 97 in for anything!
So, does anyone know what (if any) the internal differences are in the DC5R motor vs. the Type S motor? It seems like 17 horsepower at the crank could be explained by a less restrictive intake and exhaust.

The R34 will defintally be my next car. However it price is making me wait for it longer then I can take! I will have the R34 one day...
Keeping the R. Anyways my next car will be an NSX.
My future garage:
1.NSX
2.ITR
3.Honda streetbike(whatever the best is then)

Hell no! The best integra already is here: dc2 spec R!
i'm keeping my CW
And depending on how watered down the DC5R is i'll decide then
but the DC2R stays no matter what
I am gonna keep my 01 ITR for sure, and depending on how "americanized" the next Type R is, I will have to chose between RSX R equipping it with heavy modifications or a "used" stock 2002 M3. I'm thinkin the M3 but it will have to depend on my financial situation at that time.
No chance in hell. The RSX-R is not to my liking. The performance will be great, but I'm not limiting myself again with another FWD car. My next car will be a MR2 turbo or an NSX.
