I have a 88 Crx Si and I have been told to use premium gas to advance my timings and make my car go faster. Others just say its bullshit, is it?

 

Id say search...

but premium gas just burns slower preventing detonation doesn't give you any HP but advancing the timing is a little trick we all did at first. But your better off modifying your car, advancing the timing gives you like .5-1.5 hp (i could be wrong)
