came across this on ebay. i know ebay usually = red flag but for what this header is, it seems like it may be a good price.

thats what i was hoping for becuase it does look almost identical and its a good bit less. anyone have any experience with this header?

I picked up a DC for the carb number and the quality. Not the HIGHEST but it withstands my daily abuse. I'd be worried bout the good looking knockoffs.
I'd avoid this header personally. In most cases, you get what you pay for, and the auction does not even mention who makes the header it's just a "jdm style" header. IMO save for a DC header or jdm itr header.......

Cheaper header, thinner metal, weaker welds. How long do you want it to last? How low are you willing to let it hang below the oil pan?

I'd be wary of buying a no-name header... no telling how tough it is, how well it fits, if it's really got a 2.5" collector, etc.
I'd never buy a knockoff but thats just me. You won't see much if any at all power gains, I think its a waste to mod your car with **** or bottom of the line parts.....save up and do it right.
Oh and another thing, my friend had one of those no-name Ebay headers for this NA project he wanted to try out. He compared the collector on his header to a JDM DC that he sold to me and it was far smaller than the DC, probably 2" or around there.

<-----not surpised at all. i would never buy a dc header, unless it was the jdm 4-1. even at that i'd still save up for the comptech or smsp.....or better yet. Toda
