I've now seen this commercial several times. You know, the one with an RSX driving on a track going through the middle of a city, and the tag line at the end says something like "If only the rest of the world was as race inspired." So am I the only one to notice that the driver in the commercial is TERRIBLE?!? He drives right down the middle of the track for the vast majority, just smack dead center going through the turn. Then, on the few turns that he does try for an apex it was massively early! Maybe the blame should go to the CGI people who put it all together, but it still looks like horrible driving. Just thought I would vent. Thanks.

 

Speaking as a, somewhat concerned about the technical, artist. Yeah, frustrating.

Now to deal with those obviously race inspired tailgaters on the real roadways.

Those are dealt with by braking for race-inspired squirrels.

 

I wonder if his warranty was voided for having participated in a "race - inspired" commercial, while driving his "race - inspired" vehicle on a surface resembling a "racing track?"

Well, it is just a commercial. It's targetted at people who have to be told that it's race-inspired, so I doubt they don't know the lines anyway.

Yep, the people that this commercial is aimmed at is their target market; the idiots whoe weave in and out of traffic and tailgate everyone!
