im swapping in a z6 in my crx and ive ran into a couple problems...first the fuel pump wont kick on when I start the car, the fuel pump is fine becasue I ran it with a battery and it worked fine. Second I cant get my tachometer to work...if anyone could point me in the direction the wires go from the cluster that would be appreciated...third, im guessing around 4-5k rpm the motor starts skipping sorda, it runs fine until then...its like, duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuududududududud, if that helps, vtec is not hooked up but when we did it still did it, it has a big cam btw, any help is appreciated thanx.

what ECU? what trim crx?

 

checked your main realay?

have a CEL? obd0/obd1?

 

well if for sure the fuel pump works, only one thing to check...wiring. oh and of course there's the main relay problem some have (myself included).

 

p28 in a 90 dx, ok the fuel pump we wired up and its fine now and the engine is running smooth...now I just hope vtec works...and btw can anyone tell me what/where the tach runs off of?

 

tach runs of blue wire off dist. but you say your using a zex stage 3 cam havent seen it yet??? you sure its not the stage 2? i got a satge 2 and it 260 vtec int./268 exhaust.

 

yea its stage 2...sorry for my ignorance but what do those 260/268 #'s mean?
