Ecsta V700s as rain race tires?
Has anybody tried using full tread Ecsta V700s as rain race tires?
There are only three potential tires that I can use on my racecar, since I want to stick with (or very close to) 205/45/16 so I don't have to worry about alignment issues if I want to do a quick swap at the track. The three tires are Hoosiers (which I use in the dry), Azenises (which are currently in the Jeep in case of rain), and the Ecsta V700. I'd love to run the Toyo RA-1 for that purpose, but the sizes are terrible. I digress. I think the Ecsta would be a much better back up tire, mostly because if it starts drying up during the race, I should still be okay. Also, they are obviously stickier than the Azenises...
Thoughts?

Rain is the only redeeming value of these tires at full tread, but I have no comparison with full tread Toyos.
Everything else about them sucks, and I hate them.

I ran a shaved set at CMP last year in a downpour and quite liked them. At full depth I imagine they're only better.
Never driven full depth Toyos so I can't compare.
